Just checked out qualifying for T/D at the Motorplex. Not sure why but Matt didn't do a qualifier, but I noticed Scott MacLean has run a 6.094 / 236.34 which I believe is a new PB. Sooooo close to a 5!!!!!

And Colesy ran a 7.003!!!!!!!!!

MacLean just had his third qualifier, no improvements but ends qualifying in 8th on the ladder. Congrats!

Hi Jay,
We Had a shocker at the Westerns, 1st pass picked up the front wheels and crossed the centre line, 2nd pass snapped an oil fitting off during the burnout, last chance we seized the throw out bearing on the clutch and wore the fingers off the clutch backing up after the burn out. we went out for a grudge run on sunday night and picked the fronts wheels up and carried them right through first gear dropped them on the shift picked them back up and smoked the tires, the track was killer and we have a new clutch in the car and it reacts very differently to the old one, I learn't alot on the weekend and hope the car goes alot better at the nitro champs, we are racing at mildura on the 20th and I expect the car to go down the track there pretty good because the track willl be marginal and we might be able to turn the tires off the start line, should be fun a bit like Darwin I hope.

A big congratulations to Scott Maclean, He is driving his car very well and to run 6.09 was magic to watch, he did everything right against zapp in his first group 1 race, hit him with the holeshot and only smoking a piston stopped him from winning as Zapp blew his motor at 750ft. The tune up in Scotts car is still set up for the lenco drive, it will be changed to a more conventional clutch set up for the next event so I won't be surprised to see his car into the fives.

Shame WSID doesn't do the free online audio that Perth just started. Will just have to wait for the results a few days after the event.
